OS ESQUECIDOS

L embranças amargas

U nidos por desespero,

T olerando racismo:

E lemento natural de seu meio.

P erdendo  sonhos

E stuprados pela vida,

L evados pelo vento:

A braçando realidade.

J esus seu Deus e

Ú nico amigo verdadeiro

S egurando sua mão:

T ernura na alma

I nocência no olhar dessa

C riança pequena

A ndando sem rumo em

N oites eternas.

O lhos castanhos

B rilhando socorro

R esmungando tristeza

A limentado pela violência.

I WISH

Oh yes! How I

Wish I could feel

You kissing me:

Passion flowing

Through, wanting you.

Feel you hold me

Tight against your

Body: hot flush

Of desire

Each kiss, each sense

Of your touch, as

Looking with love

Into your eyes,

Seeing the same

Shine wanting me.

Feeling your love,

In those moments

Now captive and

Held locked away,

Only in dreams

I can revive

Such love again.

Oh yes! How I

Wish I could go

Back to that time.

CANADIAN SPRING

Spring breeze

blowing warm

magical whirlwinds

arouse sleeping land

Radiant sun rises

heating cold soil

Nature's paint brush

spreads lively

colors on

sprouting buds

Frisky squirrels

picking treats

exposed in

green grass

Red Robins

announce re-birth:

spring melodies.

This Feeling of Love

This feeling of love anchored inside

As cupid's arrow strike the heart

Without a fight as my soul you guide

Tearing my sane logic apart

So precious promise you make to me

Takes away my doubts and fears

Happiness in our future I see

No more pain and no more tears

My longing soul mate, I finally found

Without any doubt in sight

Together, forever we are bound

Knowing for sure this is right

Years fly by and proudly there you are

One and only love of mine

Glowing as bright as a shining star

Celebrating years with wine

Then she came, to cut me like a blade

To shake your mind, steal your heart

Turning the promise you had made

Into words that fell apart

Time's Race

Awakening in somnolent cloak

To melodies so sweet in full bloom

With dreams vanishing like smoke

Some angelic and others dark doom

While regressing to unsought reality

Is harsh but they're happy to be alive

Although together in persistant duality

In current call to survive

Time is just around the corner

Waiting anxiously to catch up to them

Disguised sometimes as a foreigner

In steady fast paced debris

Responsibility comes to mind

As people expect their presence

Seem impatient and always behind

With doubltful faces making no sense

Quickly music transmutes to racket

Of cars, buses and raging feet

Seeing all rushing in a clock's blanket

Calling them to compete

With this modern world, theyve reconciled

While they try to blend in this wild chase

As the race has commenced

With time winning it's place

I Remember Well

I remember well

Blue skies and sunny

A story to tell

Sometimes funny

Under a big tree

Let our minds go

Feeling free

Smiles to show

Light wind and breeze

Laughter in the air

Someone to tease

Loving it there

I will never know

A better time or place

The older I grow

Still remember your face

Wanting You

Like water on dry soil

With bursting rays of sunshine;

a love to treat and spoil,

Now I need you to be mine

Laughter breaking shyness

with smiles forever bright

Lighting up the darkness

Making my heart ignite

Sprouting of desire

with warm and tender kiss

in passion hot as fire;

Your warmth is what I miss

Floating light in a cloud

like on wings of a dove

Myself to you I vowed

And to forever love

Hidden In The Sand

Hidden beneath the mountains,

dust, dirt and darkness

Rock walls with scary stains

bringing them fear and madness

Is it daylight or still night?

They look for a possible clue

But only dark grey in sight

In shadows where mites grew

Memories of their power

Lots of plans of victory

Of a big tower

In the modern city

Where things would change

With deaths and fire

In all at hells range

To only their group admire

But now in darkness

Hiding within the caves and holes

Silence and sadness

sharing space with rats and moles

Doubts and thoughts

they must have each minute

Outside bombs and shots

Why are they in it?

What is the purpose?

What horror they've caused!

What honor is in this?

The world is shocked!

I hope they know

they must see it in their mind

it must be like a blow

the truth they should find

This was all insane

for them and us to die

it's NOT God's cane

that led to this lie

It's evil within

That forms that man

Now hiding in sin

whose followers all ran

Maybe they were brainwashed

or stupid, blind and crazy

hell on earth they've caused

keeping the devil busy

This false regime they go by

is absent of God and light

In darkness they  lie

Will they ever gain sight?

THEY CALL IT 'TO'

CN towering tall over

limited work cubicles

Walk side scrambling people:

rich and poor survival

Pubs show artist's favorites

Flashing, crowded clubs

lighting up city night

Patios, boats, balconies,

along rock filled coast

Circling noisy seagulls,

ice-cream slurp sounds:

summer sun heat and flirt
